Coach Lisa is in her 22nd year with the Panthers. She has been coaching cheerleading for more than 30 years, with over 40 years of experience in the sport. Lisa is a Willoughby South Alumni, and was a proud Rebel cheerleader for 4 years. She attended Ashland University, where she was captain of the dance team.

 

Lisa is a member of the WASF and background checked AAU coach. She has completed the Fundamentals of Coaching, SAFESPORT, and Concussion in Sports courses and is AACCA safety certified as well as American Red Cross Sports First Aid and CPR certified. She was an American Red Cross Sports Safety, CPR, and First Aid Instructor for many years. She is certified in Concussion, Heat, and CardiacWise as well as the Proactive Coaching Double Goal Coaching Program. Coach Lisa is also a member of the Rules and Divisions Committees with the WASF

 

Lisa has returned to coaching the Cheerleaders at Willoughby South, where she coached for 12 years, before taking time off to devote all of her cheer energy to the Panthers. During Lisa’s tenure as coach, both the Rebels and Panthers have won numerous local, Regional, National, and Grand Champion titles, as well as several specialty awards for jumping, stunting, tumbling, and choreography, and were the first ever team to receive the USAS Leadership through Sportsmanship Award. 2023 was an undefeated season the Rebel Competition Team.


Lisa and her husband Dave, have 4 children.  Michaela, a Panther alumni of 13 years and 2023 Cheerleading Worlds Finalist is a certified personal trainer at Crunch Fitness in Florida. Brenna, who also cheered for the Panthers for 10 years, recently graduated from Ohio University. She works for Ohio Business Machines and has returned to coach at Panthers. After completing her 13th year as a dedicated Panther, adn 4 years as a Varsity Cheerleader at Willoughby South, Kylie is heading to Ohio University in the Fall. Kiera, the youngest member of the Yerse family turns 10 this December, and enjoys swimming and playing softball and flag football, and loves competing with her Panther Family!

  
Jaime Ingram

Coach Jaime has coached at Panthers Allstar Cheer for a total of 16 years.  During several of those years she was also the Head Cheerleading Coach at Notre Dame Cathedral Latin High School. She spent 14 very successful seasons there and is very proud of the advancements the Cheer program made during her time with the Lions. Prior to PAC  and NDCL, Jaime Coached for 2 years at her alma mater, Willoughby South High School. While a Rebel at Willoughby South she was a Cheerleader for 4 years and voted Captain of her squad twice.


Jaime and Christopher Ingram are the proud parents of 2 children, Kailynn and Brynleigh, both of whom are currently participating in the Panther Program.


Jaime is certified by the Ohio High School Athletic Association in Fundamentals of Coaching She also holds certifications in CPR and Concussions in Sports. She is also a WASF/AAU member coach.


Dance and Cheer are a large part of Jamie's background. Not only did she cheer in High School, she was an original member on the Notre Dame College Dance Team.

Jaime's career has been focused on  teaching and coaching children since she first started working. She spent 8 years with the City of Willoughby as lifeguard, swim Instructor, and swim lesson coordinator.


Coach J’s goal is to enrich the lives of her athletes and see them blossom into strong, responsible and dedicated adults. She says her greatest accomplishment is seeing her athletes years later and hearing them say, “Thank you for everything, Coach”.

Michaela Yerse
Michaela began her career as a Panther back in 2003 at the age of 4. She spent 13 years as a proud Panther athlete, the last 4 also as a Junior Coach. As an athlete, Michaela earned several National Titles and specialty awards with her teams and as an individual. As a coach her teams have won numerous National titles, were National Grand Champions, and D2 Summit Finalists. Michaela graduated from Willoughby South High School where she was a Varsity Cheerleader on the Football, Basketball and Competition Squads during her 4 years before graduating in 2016. She graduated from Kent State University in 2018 with degrees in Criminology and Psychology, and is the coordinator for the RISE Program for the Akron Municipal Court.

Michaela is a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer, who is also First Aid and CPR certified. She is also certified in Concussion, Heat, and CardiacWise as well as the Proactive Coaching Double Goal Coaching Program. She is a background checked, Professional Member Coach of the USASF, WASF, and AAU and is credentialed in Levels 1-4. 

Michaela is excels in technique in both stunting and tumbling, but it's her passion for competitive cheer and her experience as an athlete that give her a unique perspective as a coach and helps her connect with her athletes. She loves working with young athletes and sharing in their enthusiasm. 

She hopes to instill her athletes with Loyalty, Integrity, Teamwork,,and Dedication as the building blocks to be great people.
